Family and friends may call at the Amos Carvelli Funeral Home, 201 Edison Street, Nutter Fort on Monday, May 1, 2017 from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. The service will be held at the conclusion of the visitation at 6:00 p.m. with Pastor Bill Lanham presiding. Per his request, he will be cremated following the service.

Harold Warren Stemple, 66, of Custer Addition, passed away at his residence on April 26, 2017 following a brief illness.
He was born in Custer Addition, WV, on August 10, 1950, a son of the late James and Dessie Linn Stemple.
Harold is survived by his wife, Dixie Stemple; three brothers, Clayton Stemple and wife Chum Hui of Washington State; Victor Stemple of Clarksburg and James Stemple of Custer Addition; four sisters, Maxine McCartney of McArthur, OH, Mary Mick of Mt. Clare and Murhl Blessing and husband Lew of Lyndhurst, VA; Johnny Carol Wood of Stewart Draft, VA; as well as several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers, Leon, Leonard and Jerry Stemple; and two sisters, Wilda Parson and Nancy Winter.
Mr. Stemple was Christian by faith.
