Family and friends may call at the Amos Carvelli Funeral Home, 201 Edison Street, Nutter Fort on Sunday from 2:00 to 8:00 pm, where funeral services will be held on Monday, March 4, 2019 at 11:00 am with Pastor Gregory “Rocky” Dodd and Pastor Jamie Gizzi officiating. Interment will be in the Seventh Day Baptist Church Cemetery.

Helen Edith Louise Wilson, 92, of Clarksburg, passed away on Tuesday, February 26, 2019 at her residence. She was born in Kingwood on May 10, 1926, a daughter of the late Cleveland and Charlotte Gribble Stewart.

 

She is survived by her husband, Reverend Robert H. Wilson, whom she married on May 2, 1952.

 

In addition to her husband, she is also survived by three sons, Daniel K. Wilson of Clarksburg, Michael D. Wilson and his wife Terri of Bridgeport and C. Darwin Wilson and his wife Beverly of Raleigh, NC; one daughter, Melody Dawn Cooper and her husband Kirk of Lost Creek; his former daughter-in-law, Beverly Wilson of Clarksburg; nine grandchildren, Okey Wilson, Nathan Wilson, Pam McDonald, Addie Maxwell, Crystal Pennypacker, Rodney Cooper, David Wilson, Shawn Cooper, Isaac Wilson; and 5 great grandchildren, Victoria, Chloe, Dazie, Gracie and Nolan.

 

She was also preceded in death by three brothers, Kenneth Stewart, Clarence “Bud” Stewart, and Cleo Stewart; and two sisters, Freda Rodeheaver and Maxine Casseday.

 

Mrs. Wilson was a homemaker and a member of the Abundant Life Church in Arlington Addition.
