Family and friends may call at the Amos Carvelli Funeral Home, 201 Edison Street, Nutter Fort, on Monday from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. where the funeral service will be held on Tuesday, June 4, 2019, at 11:00 a.m. with Reverend Dustin McCune presiding.   Honoring his request, he will be cremated following the service.

Jack Richard Plivelich, 63, of Hepzibah, WV, passed away on May 31, 2019, at the United Hospital Center, unexpectedly.

 

He was born in Clarksburg, WV, on December 28, 1955, a son of Flora Chiado Plivelich of Hepzibah and the late Jack Plivelich.

 

Jack was married on April 22, 1989 to Lesa Hogeboom Plivelich, who resides at their home in Hepzibah.

 

He is also survived by two sons, Patrick Plivelich of Hepzibah and Austin Plivelich of Morgantown; one brother, Joseph Plivelich and wife Madonna of Fort Myers Beach, FL as well as several nieces and nephews.

 

Jack was a graduate of Liberty High School and was a school bus driver for the Harrison County Board of Education. He formerly was in the banking industry and was a former athletic director at Notre Dame High School.

 

He was Catholic by faith, and a member of the Clarksburg Country Club.  He enjoyed playing golf and coaching youth sports.
