Family and friends may call at the Amos Carvelli Funeral Home, 201 Edison Street, Nutter Fort on Thursday from 6:00 to 8:00 pm. Funeral services will be held on Friday, September 1, 2017 at 11:00 am with Reverend Tim Sandy officiating. Interment will be in the New Mt. Olive Cemetery.

James “Wilbert” Clevenger, 90, of Clarksburg, passed away on Monday, August 28, 2017 at his residence.
He was born in Goosepen, WV on May 8, 1927, a son of the late Lacy Lawrence and Dora Ann Rogers Clevenger.
Surviving are one son, Edward Clevenger of Lumberport; one daughter Iva Jenkins of Clarksburg; seven grandchildren, Denise Edwards, Lace Clevenger, Mandy Lamb, Kevin Clevenger, Kalena Clevenger, Renae Lanham, and James E. Clevenger; numerous great grandchildren; one sister, Ruie Bond of Grantsville; several nieces and nephews; and Sheila and Debbie Clevenger who were like daughters to him. He was also preceded in death by six brothers and five sisters.
Mr. Clevenger was a retired landscaper and was Baptist by faith. He loved to sing and listen to country and gospel music and loved going to the Sagebrush Roundup.
