Family and friends may call at the Amos Carvelli Funeral Home, 201 Edison Street, Nutter Fort on Friday , May 6, 2016 from 4:00 to 8:00 pm. In keeping with his wishes, Mr. Post will be cremated following the visitation.

James Joseph “Jimmy Joe” Post, 66, of Country Club Road, Clarksburg, passed away on Tuesday, May 3, 2016 in the Ruby Memorial Hospital. He was born in Clarksburg on July 2, 1949, a son of James M. Post of Peytona, WV, and Norma Jean Floyd Benninger of Clarksburg.
In addition to his parents, he is also survived by his wife, Maurice C. Libert Post; two children, Amy Murphy and her husband John of Ft. Lauderdale, FL, and James “Adam” Post and his wife Amber of Clarksburg; five step children, Aubrey Stutler of Clarksburg, TR Stutler and his wife Jennifer of Bridgeport, Justin Stutler and his wife Latedra of Longwood, FL, Brian Batcheller and his wife Tiffany of Clarksburg, and Melissa Hurley and her husband Jason of Fayetteville, NC; 13 grandchildren; and two great grandchildren.
Mr. Post was a graduate of Washington Irving High School and a self employed contractor.
Family and friends may call at the Amos Carvelli Funeral Home, 201 Edison Street, Nutter Fort on Friday, May 6, 2016 from 4:00 to 8:00 pm. In keeping with his wishes, Mr. Post will be cremated following the visitation.
