Family and friends may call at the Amos Carvelli Funeral Home, 201 Edison Street, Nutter Fort on Sunday from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm, where funeral services will be held on Monday, May 24, 2021 with Reverend Sherman Goodwin officiating. Interment will be in the Sunset Memorial Park.

Janet Lea Savina Nutter, 69, of Stonewood passed away on Thursday, May 20, 2021.

She was born in Clarksburg on April 9, 1952, a daughter of the late Paul Clifford Savina and Frances Madeline Savina Walls.

She is survived by her husband, Edward Nutter, whom she married on June 8, 1974.

Also surviving are two children, Edward Paul Nutter and his wife Kristy of Clarksburg and Sara Lea Arbogast and her husband Gary of Clarksburg; three grandchildren, Nolan Arbogast, Kilee Williams and John Arbogast; one sister, Paula Elder of Clarksburg; four nieces and nephews, Jordan Elder and his wife Alyssa of Morgantown, Rhea Hamric and her husband Lee of Clarksburg, Leeandra Sabatelli and her husband Tony of Clarksburg, and Stacey Oxley and her husband Trevor of Clarksburg; three great nieces and great nephews, Jacob Elder, Audrey Hamric and Henry Hamric; as well as her dog, Milo and cat, Odie.

Mrs. Nutter was a 1970 graduate of Washington Irving High School, was formerly employed at Weber’s Flowers and was a member of the Congregational Missionary Church. She loved filling her home with flowers and enjoyed long drives through the country and mountains. Janet was a gracious and Godly woman, as well as a dedicated and loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and aunt.
