Janet Sue Moore Taylor, 82, of Clarksburg, passed away on Thursday, August 19, 2021, at her residence.

She was born on December 17, 1938, in Salem, WV, a daughter of the late Glenn and Merle Leeson Moore.

She was the wife to William Taylor, who preceded her death.

Janet is survived by her three sons, Ronald Moore and wife Judy of Salem, James Carder and wife Wilma of Clarksburg, and Dwaine Carder and wife Trish of Clarksburg; two daughters, Vickie Counts of Stonewood and Robin Tipton-Peterson and husband Paul of Sardis; eleven grandchildren, Tracie, David, Sarah, Sierra, Eva Marie, Lexi, Josh, Amanda, Ricky, Jessica, and Kevin; twenty great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; brother, Elmer Moore of Arizona; sister, Betty Morris of New Martinsville; as well as several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her husband and parents she was preceded in death by her brother, Dale Moore.

Janet was a graduate of Salem High School. She was a seamstress for Maidenform. She attended Horizon’s Church in Lost Creek. In her free time, she loved to camp and play canasta. She enjoyed collecting angels. She will be sadly missed.
