Family and friends may call at the Amos Carvelli Funeral Home, 201 Edison Street, Nutter Fort on Sunday, April 30, 2017 from 12:00 to 8:00 p.m.   In honor of Jason, the family request visitors pay their respects in tie-dye, Harley Davidson or casual apparel.   In keeping with his wishes, cremation services will follow the visitation.

Jason Daniel Farnsworth, 39, of Clarksburg, passed away on April 25, 2017, at his residence.

 

He was born in Clarksburg, on November 9, 1977, a son of Richard Martin Farnsworth and Phyllis Iconis Farnsworth of Clarksburg.

 

Jason was a loving devoted husband and father. He is survived by his wife two children, Lindsey Twigg Farnsworth, Jennavieve “Jenna” Farnsworth, and Malakai Farnsworth all of Clarksburg.

 

Also surviving are his sister, Amy Lamp of Clarksburg; two aunts, Pam Fortney and husband Mark of Brunswick, OH and Susan Jones and husband Keith of Clarksburg; two nieces, Kayle Lamp and Julianna Lamp; one nephew, Jacob Lamp, and cousins, Chris, Brian, Sandra, Heather, Jessica, and Ashley.

 

Jason was a graduate of Liberty High School Class of 1995 and was a veteran in the U.S. Marine Corp. He was the Assistant Manager of Pet Supply Plus with 14 years of service.

 

Jason enjoyed spending time with family, watching softball, volleyball, and days at the park. He was an avid lover of nature where he enjoyed hiking, riding Harley Davidson Motorcycles, and being a master-prankster. He was very easy going and brought a smile and joy to others.  He loved the Pittsburgh Steelers, Pirates and Penguins.

 

In lieu of flowers, an educational fund has been established for Jason’s children at the Harrison County Bank.
