Family and friends may call at the Amos Carvelli Funeral Home, 201 Edison Street, Nutter Fort, on Wednesday from 2:00 to 8:00 p.m. where funeral services will be held on Thursday, November 15, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Rocky Dodd presiding.   Interment will follow in the Greenlawn Masonic Cemetery.

Jean Ferrell Sendling, 91, of Clarksburg, WV, passed away on Saturday, November 10, 2018, at her residence.

 

She was born on October 15, 1927, in Christian County, Kentucky, a daughter of the late Elva Almerita Nixon and Norman Ferrell.

 

She is survived by her daughters, Carla (Wendy) Sendling of Clarksburg, Donna (Ed) Barnes of Clarksburg, and Pamela (John) Wolfe of Clarksburg; five grandchildren, Tim (Jennifer) Barnes of Clarksburg, John David (Becky) Barnes, Good Hope, Brian Barnes of Clarksburg, Jessica Wolfe of Clarksburg, and Aaron (Haleigh) Wolfe of Bridgeport; nine great grandchildren, Amy Barnes of Clarksburg, Devin Barnes of Clarksburg, Brooklyn Barnes of Good Hope, Mya Barnes of Good Hope, Cody McCoy of Clarksburg, LaLee McCoy of Clarksburg, Kalyn McCoy of Clarksburg, Brenlee Wolfe of Bridgeport, and Kyah Wolfe of Bridgeport.

 

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one daughter, Linda Carol Sendling; three brothers, Loven Ferrell, Glenn Ferrell and Donald Ferrell; and one sister, Juanita Driscoll.

 

Jean retired from United Hospital Center with 45 years of service and was Baptist by faith.
