Jeffrey Blair “Jeff” Simpson, 60, of Lone Pine Dr., Clarksburg Country Club addition, passed away on Friday, April 6, 2018 at his residence after an extended history of heart disease. He was born in Michigan on November 20, 1957.

He is survived by his wife, Tammy Lorraine Nicholas Simpson, whom he married on July 4, 1997; his niece, Vana Sendling, and Vana’s daughter Jazzlyn Sendling, both of whom he thought of as daughters; one sister, Pam Shaw and her husband Malcom of Kentucky; his mother-in-law and father-in-law, Phyllis and Willis “Willie” Nicholas of Clarksburg; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Bob and Tina Morrison of Clarksburg; his mother, Beverly Barker Rinker of Bridgeport; his siter-in-law Jodi Rinker of Bridgeport; and two nieces, Megan and Mallory Rinker of Bridgeport.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Bert and Louise Barker; and his father, Blair Simpson.

Upon graduating from Bridgeport High School, Jeff began working for Alker Tire. He later went on to work for other companies, including Goodyear and Appalachian Tire, and is currently the manager of King Tire Service with over 40 years of service. He looked forward to going to work every day. He especially looked forward to his visits from Jazzlyn on the weekends. He was Methodist by faith.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 21, 2018 at 3:00 pm at Amos Carvelli Funeral Home with Pastor Lenny Delaney officiating.
