Only took care of this man for 4 hours once one day later in the evening. His presence was a joy to be around. After just a few hours of speaking with him we talked about his hobbies and things him and my husband have in common. I could see how kind him and his wife were and I have thought and prayed for them ever since. Hope all is well with family... it was a pleasure to meet you john! RIP God Bless

Father, I ask in the Name of Jesus that You give the Gerlach family peace in their hearts knowing that You are with them. Give them confidence in knowing that You are their Father, and You are the King of Kings, so that they may not need for anything because You supply all our needs. Give them the amount of faith they need to trust You in all situations, to rest in You until the storm passes. Father, I ask that you fill them with the joy that comes only from You so that their smiles will shine for Your Glory. If they should cry, give them assurance that each tear shed is a little bit of healing that is needed. In the Name of Jesus I pray.

Charlotte, Philip, Thomas, Deborah, and extended Family, My sincere condolences. I will personally miss the long conversations Jack and I had wherever I called; new receipies for the slow cooker, the innerworkings of Radar, My lack of understanding car engines (LOL), Mineral & gas storage; just to name few topics. Bless you with quiet moments when you're feeling overwhelmed. True wisdom when you're facing difficult choices . Restful hours when your days are long. - Praying that these blessings will be yours - Ken Washinton, DC

Sorry to hear of the loss of John. I worked at Pittsburgh Tower and went to Morgantown Tower twice to do their PIV cards (gov't. ID) with my co-worker Brooks. John took us to the airport restaurant and bought us lunch and told us many interesting stories about his life and Germany. Very nice man.

Dear Gerlach family & friends: Please accept my sincerest condolences. It was an honor and a pleasure to have met Joachim, albeit so briefly before his passing. You are all in my thoughts. My best. Susi D.
