Family and friends may call at the Amos Carvelli Funeral Home, 201 Edison Street, Nutter Fort on Sunday from 2:00 to 8:00 pm.   Funeral services will be held Monday, June 20, 2016 at 3:00 pm with Reverend Dave Baker and Reverend O. D. Harman officiating.   Interment will be in the Sunset Memorial Park.

John Hazen Kelley, 81, of Clarksburg, passed away on Wednesday, June 8, 2016 in Florida.  He was born in Clarksburg on June 21, 1934, a son of the late Albert and Edith Radabaugh Kelley.

 

He is survived by his wife, Janet Ann Lucas Kelley, whom he married June 13, 1953.  Also surviving are three sons, Michael Kelley and his wife Nora of Vista, CA, Mark Kelley and his companion Diane of Clarksburg, and Randy Kelley and his wife Janet of Logan; one daughter, Donna Mendez and her husband Robert of Clarksburg; nine grandchildren; and 12 great grandchildren.  He was also preceded in death by two grandchildren, Steve Oyarzo and Chris Kelley; and one sister.

 

Mr. Kelley was a retired truck driver for Stork Baking Company, and was past president of the Bread Company Local Union.  He was a member and past president of the Mt. Clare Lions Club, Oddfellows Lodge, lifetime member of the Harrison County Emergancy Squad, and the Evangelical Congregational Church at Oakmound.

 

John was a long time NASCAR fan.  He enjoyed collecting things, from coins to hats.  Most of all, John enjoyed spending time with family and friends.  His front porch was always open.
