John Ralph Osborn, 76, of Clarksburg, WV, passed away on Thursday, July 3, 2025, at his home.
He was born in Clarksburg, on July 30, 1948, a son of the late Roy and Edith Myrtle Hinkle Osborn.
John was preceded in death by his wife and best friend of 22 years, Susan Osborn, on January 11, 2020. He was also preceded in death by his son, John Alan Osborn, and his dog, Jack.
He is survived by his son, Donald Osborn; granddaughter, Victora Lim and husband Alex of FL; three great grandchildren, Caleb Fore, Tyler Lim, and Jackson Lim; and his cat, Tommy.
Mr. Osborn was a heavy equipment operator and a jack of all trades including restoring his home. He was an avid coin collector and dreamed of digging for gold in Alaska. John loved playing the lottery and was a formidable chess and poker player. Above all, he was a very generous, kind and caring person.
