Family and friends may call at the All Saints Catholic Church, 317 E. Main Street, Bridgeport WV 26330 on Friday, September 27, 2024 from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 12:00 pm with Father Walt Jagela as Celebrant.  Interment will follow in the Holy Cross Cemetery.

John Robert Renzelli 69, passed away at United Hospital Center on Sept 22, 2024, following an extended illness.

Bob was born to John and Rita (Whelan) Renzelli on Oct 18, 1954 in Clarksburg, WV.

He graduated from Notre Dame High School in 1972, and Fairmont State College in 1976.  After college, Bob attended Creighton University for a year to study theology. Bob was an avid reader and enjoyed searching for books to add to his ample collection.  He had a wonderful array of popular readings in hardback. Bob was a history buff and well versed in the subject. He loved the flea markets and searched for popular novels, books about the Saints, historical fiction, as well as classics. He loved to plant and landscape, and loved his oldies but goodies, 33 LP records.  Bob worked for Workman’s Compensation in Charleston, WV then later for the DMV in Charleston, WV as well as Bridgeport, WV, for many years.

Bob is survived by his brother Michael Renzelli and wife Charlene, sister Beatrice (Bea) Scott and husband William (Randy), and sister Julia Kemmerer. Also surviving are his nephews: Carmen Renzelli and wife Adrienne of Philadelphia, Pa, Eric Andrew of Buckhannon, Brian Kemmerer and his wife Brittany; nieces: Gina Renzelli, Stephanie Randolph, Melissa Farnsworth and husband Danny, and Tracy Dickerson and husband Robert of Apex, North Carolina, great nephews: Ashton Snuffer, Silas Andrew, Landon Dickerson, and Beau Kemmerer; great nieces, Torre Renzelli, Khyler Randolph and fiancé John Aloi, Khynzli Randolph, Kerrington Randolph, Kassidy Randolph, Isabella Farnsworth, Abigail Dickerson, Penelope Kemmerer, and Josi Kemmerer.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Eugene Renzelli and one brother-in-law, Donald Kemmerer.
