Family and friends may call at the Amos Carvelli Funeral Home on Monday, December 17, 2018, from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. The funeral will be held at the conclusion of the visitation at 11:00 a.m. with Reverend Rodney Heckert presiding.   Interment will follow in the Sunset Memorial Park Cemetery.   In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Harrison County Humane Society, 2450 Saltwell Road, Shinnston, WV 26431.

Johnny “Yonk” Everett, 77, of Clarksburg, WV, passed away on Thursday, December 13, 2018, at his residence.

 

He was born in Mt. Clare, on March 24, 1941, a son of the late James Franklin and Mary Louise Stutler Everett.

 

Yonk is survived by his beloved companion, Jean Travis; one son, Jonathan “Andy” Terrell of Crimora, VA; one stepson, Andrew Butler and wife Valerie of Nutter Fort; two daughters, Cheryl Horton and husband Don of Mt. Clare, Lisa Pennington of Mt. Clare; eight grandchildren; and twelve great grandchildren. He is also survived by two brothers, James Earl Everett of Columbus, OH, and Scottie Everett of Florida; one sister, Brenda Everett of Clarksburg; as well as several nieces and nephews.

 

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers, Dennis Everett, Jerry Everett, and Roger Lee Everett; and two sisters Linda Crock and Betty Stemple.

 

He was a retired Hand-Blown Glass Artist from Princes House Manufacturing.

Interment will follow in the Sunset Memorial Park Cemetery.
