Family and friends may call at the Amos Carvelli Funeral Home, 201 Edison Street, Nutter Fort on Monday, from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. The funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday, April 11, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Jamie Gizzi presiding.   Interment will follow in the Lumberport Lions Club Cemetery.

Judith Elaine Earnest-Currey-Gumbus, 72, of Shinnston, WV, passed away on April 7, 2017, at the United Hospital Center.

 

She was born in Lumberport, WV, on October 9, 1944, a daughter of the late Jack and Reva Heavner.

 

Judith is survived by one son, Charles Gumbus of Clarksburg; one daughter, Connie Coffman and her significant other, Barry Thompson of Clarksburg; two granddaughters, Cheyenne Coffman, Jordyn Coffman and companion Logan Russell; and her dog “Taco Bella”. She is also survived by one brother, Charles Earnest and wife, Viola, and their son David Lee Earnest, one sister, Jackie Marchesano and husband Vincent of Ashburn, VA; and their son, Makai “My Guy Kai” Marchesano; her nieces and nephews, Richard Walton, Jason Albright, Bobbie Albright, Gina Earnest, several great nieces and nephews; and her two best friends, Peggy Burkhammer and Karen Carder.

 

Judith was a member of the Traveling Renegades and retired as a manager for the Great American Cookie Company.
