Per her request, Karon will be cremated.   Family and friends may call at the Amos Carvelli Funeral Home on Tuesday, December 19, 2017, where services will be held at 11:00 a.m. with Reverend Del Parris presiding.

Karon Eilene Strother Davisson, 69, of Clarksburg, WV, passed away on Saturday, December 16, 2017, at the United Hospital Center.

 

She was born in Clarksburg, WV, on July 14, 1948, a daughter of the late Junior and Oma Margery Edgell Strother.

 

Karon is survived by her husband Maynard Duane Davisson, whom she married on September 18, 1964.

 

Also surviving are three children, Shelly Loria and husband Richard of Heath, OH, Scott Davisson and wife Stacie of Newark, OH, Derek Davisson and wife Angela of Stonewood, WV; and one special niece, Tamela Currey, whom was raised as their own; six grandchildren, Jasmine Shafer, Trevor Loria, Savannah Avery, Olivia Davisson, Taylor Davisson and Haley Davisson; three great grandchildren, Rylan Johnson, Mylah Johnson, and Macey Shafer; three sisters, Wanda Kaufman and husband Kevin of Lost Creek, WV, Catherine Currey of Doddridge County, WV, and Debra McClain of Ohio; one brother, Kevin Strother of Davisson Run, WV; as well as several nieces and nephews.

 

Karon was a L.P.N. and spent many years caring for others.  Her passion was always caring for the elderly in nursing homes and retirement communities. She was a former member of the McIntire Fork Baptist Church.

 

Per her request, Karon will be cremated.

 

Family and friends may call at the Amos Carvelli Funeral Home on Tuesday, December 19, 2017, where services will be held at 11:00 a.m. with Reverend Del Parris presiding.
