Kayla Marie (Weese) Cottrill, 30, of Nutter Fort, passed away on Wednesday, June 12, 2019 as a result of an automobile accident.

She was born in Clarksburg on January 26, 1989, a daughter of Laura Weese Bailey and her husband Donald Bailey.

In addition to her mother and step-father, she is also survived by her biological father, James Hurst of Sutton, WV; her boyfriend, Ben Marrison; three sons, Elias Cottrill, Grayson Cottrill and Lucian Casto; four brothers, James Weese of Mt. Clare, Dakota Bailey of Mt. Clare, Jacob Bailey of Mt. Clare and James Hurst; her maternal grandmother, Linda Brown and her husband Robert; her Maternal grandfather, Art Weese; her paternal grandmother, Laura Hurst-Nestor; three aunts, Deborah Morrison and her husband Todd, Melissa Lewis and her fiancé Jimmy, and Regina Roth and her husband Jared; three cousins, Darrin Criss, Taylor Bolton and her husband John, and David Lewis.

Kayla was a 2007 graduate of Robert C. Byrd High School and was a server at Texas Roadhouse.

In keeping with her wishes, Kayla will be cremated.

There will be a gathering of family and friends on Sunday, June 16, 2019 from 2:00 to 4:00 pm at Amos Carvelli Funeral Home, 201 Edison Street, Nutter Fort, where a memorial service will be held at 4:00 pm.
