Larry Price, 69, of Anmoore, WV, passed away at his home on January 2, 2021.

He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Flora Ann Fazio Price; one son, Christopher; one granddaughter, Madison; one daughter, Terri Price Shaffer and her husband Mike; two grandsons, Donovan and Dominick; one brother, John Gary “Whitey” Price and wife Patty; as well as two special cousins, Danny Mazzei and Jeannie McConlegue; and many other cousins and relatives.

Mr. Price was preceded in death by his parents, “Pappy George” and Vieva Price; and by his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Patsy J. and Mary Fazio.

His former employment included CSX Transportation, Larry’s Welding and Construction, Superior Carriers, U-Car and Price’s Gun Shop.

Mr. Price was a Vietnam Veteran and was an avid outdoorsman who enormously enjoyed hunting and fishing. He thoroughly enjoyed making broken things work again and there was not anything he could not do with his hands. After his retirement he was able to devote full time to his passion for gun repair.

He also very much enjoyed the fruits of his wife’s and son’s gardening efforts. His favorite prayer was “Grace” before meals.

The family wishes to especially thank David Peasak II for the excellent, kind and compassionate care that he gave to Larry over the past several years and which made life easier for the entire family; to Father Kent During, Father Sravan Kumar, Deacon John, Janet Cox and the Music Ministry of Our Lady Perpetual Help Catholic Church; Anmoore EMS; as well as Amos Carvelli Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Larry’s name to Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church FOOD PANTRY, 8092 3RD Street, Stonewood, WV, 26301.
