Family and friends may call at the Amos Carvelli Funeral Home, 201 Edison Street, Nutter Fort on Thursday, May 19, 2016 from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 Noon.   The funeral service will be held at the conclusion of the visitation with Pastor Charles Madaus presiding.     Interment will follow in the Greenlawn Masonic Cemetery.

Laura Jane Bunnell, 65, of Clarksburg, passed away on May 13, 2016 at her residence following an extended illness. 

 

She was born in Webster Springs, WV, on July 23, 1950, a daughter of the late Aulton and Hazel Cogar Kiner.

 

She was preceded in death by her husband Charles J. Bunnell, Jr. on February 4, 1993.

 

Mrs. Bunnell is survived by one son, Charles Bunnell of Clarksburg; two grandchildren, Thomas “Tommy Joe” Bunnell and Michael Bunnell; one great grandson, Joshua Bunnell. Also surviving are three brothers, Charles Kiner and his wife Marie of Clarksburg, Arnold Kiner and his wife Debra and Adren Kiner and his wife JoAnn both of Geneva, OH; five sisters, Barbara Elza, and Debbie Davis both of Stonewood, Mary Bowen and her husband Ray of Park Forest, IL, Neoma Dennison of Quiet Dell, and Cheryl Martin of Salem; as well as several nieces and nephews.

 

In addition to her parents and husband,   she was preceded in death by one sister, Rose Espinoza and one brother, Robert Kiner.

 

Mrs. Bunnell was Baptist by faith and a homemaker.
