Family and friends may call at the Amos Carvelli Funeral Home, 201 Edison Street, Nutter Fort, on Wednesday from 2:00 to 8:00 pm, where funeral services will be held on Thursday, July 11, 2019 at 11:00 am with Pastor Aaron Morgan officiating. Interment will be in the Floral Hills Memorial Gardens where full military graveside rites will be accorded.

Lee Edward Raines, 74, of Lost Creek, passed away on Tuesday, July 9, 2019 at his residence.
He was born in Kempton, MD on August 24, 1944, a son of the late Alfred Richard and Blanche Nellie Propes Raines.
He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Carol Jean Holbert Raines; two children, Tammy Renee Moats and her husband Burl of Lost Creek, and Scott Alan Raines of Lost Creek; one granddaughter, Kendra Snyder and her husband John of Clarksburg; and three siblings, Roger Raines of Carolina, WV, Jean Talbert and Diane Blair both of Archdale, NC.
Mr. Raines was a United States Army Veteran having served during Vietnam and was a truck driver with W. S. Thomas Trucking. He attended Lifepointe Church in Clarksburg.
