Family and friends will be received at the Amos Carvelli Funeral Home, 201 Edison Street, Nutter Fort on Tuesday from 2:00 to 9:00 PM.  A Vigil Service will be held at 5:30 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, June 27, 2018 at St. James Catholic Church at 10:00 AM with Father Akila Rodrigo as celebrant.  Entombment will follow in the Holy Cross Cemetery.  Expressions of sympathy may be extended to the family at www.amoscarvelli.com.  A Service of Amos Carvelli Funeral Home.

Lenora Joan Pandora Carbacio, age 88, of North View, departed this life Saturday, June 23, 2018 surrounded by her family.  She was born in Anmoore, WV on July 14, 1929 a daughter of the late Anthony Pandora and Filomena Imperial Pandora.  Her husband, Nick Carbacio whom she married October 25, 1953, preceded her in death on May 26, 2013.

 

Surviving are two sons, Joseph Carbacio and his wife Janet of Clarksburg, and Kevin Carbacio and his wife Kim of Bridgeport.  Six grandchildren, Jennifer Barton and her husband Greg, Nicholas Carbacio, Kasie Carbacio, Megan Carbacio, Jaclyn Swick, Deanna Gaba and her husband Charles.  Six great grandchildren, Andrew Barton, Avery Carbacio, Abigail, Emelia, Charlie, and Patrick Gaba.  One sister, Elizabeth Westfall of Huntington; one sister in law, Frances Pandora of Clarksburg; one brother in law, Joe Leroy of Stonewood, along with several nieces and nephews.

 

In addition to her parents and her husband, Lenora was preceded in death by two brothers, Tony and Jimmy Pandora; five sisters, Stella Zannino, Carmella Gulley, Lena Rudy, Mary Barnett, and Flora Leroy.

 

Lenora was a member of the St. James Catholic Church, having been a cantor and member of the choir.  She was well known in previous years as a soloist for many catholic weddings, and as the bookkeeper for her husband’s business, Nick’s Union 76 on Route 19 in Edgewood.
