Family and friends may call at the Amos Carvelli Funeral Home, 201 Edison Street, Nutter Fort Tuesday from 2:00 to 8:00 p.m. The service will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday, March 29, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. with Reverend Bill Coffindaffer presiding. Interment will follow in the Shinnston Memorial Cemetery.

Lina Lee Hanna Pritchard, 92, of Lumberport, WV, passed away on March 23, 2017, at the Pierpont Center in Fairmont.

 

She was born in Pennsboro, WV, on October 10, 1924, a daughter of the late Guy and Freda Dunham Hawkins. She was also preceded in death by her stepmother, Mabel Hawkins.

 

Twice married Lina was preceded in death by her first husband, Roy Hanna in 1963 and her second husband, Arch Pritchard in 1974.

 

Mrs. Pritchard is survived by two sons, Guy Hanna and wife Lynda of Mauldin, SC and Aaron Hanna and wife Tammi of Enterprise, WV; three daughters, Mable McKnight and companion Tim of Longview, TX, Lina Haught and husband Frank of Lumberport, WV, and Mary Cox and husband Mike of Clarksburg, WV; 11 grandchildren, six step-grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren; and one great great-grandchild.

 

In addition to her parents and husbands, she was preceded in death by her sister, Betty Coffindaffer.

 

Lina received an associate’s degree from Potomac State College and worked in the Administration Department at St. Mary’s Hospital. She retired from the United Hospital Center in 1989.

 

She was a member of the Ten Mile Baptist Church, the Rebekah Lodge #47 of Shinnston and Pythian Sisters of Fairmont.
