Family and friends may call at the Amos Carvelli Funeral Home, 201 Edison Street, on Tuesday, May 10, 2016, from 9:00 to 10:00 am. The funeral service will be held at the conclusion of visitation with Pastor Tim Sandy presiding. Interment will follow at the Hazel Green Cemetery in Ritchie County.

Lloyd Steven “Stevie” Powers, 50, of Stonewood, WV, passed away on Sunday, May 8, 2016 at Ruby Memorial Hospice, following an extended illness.
He was born on July 9, 1965 a son of the late Lloyd Edmund Powers and Karen Ann Moats Richards of Clarksburg.
In addition to his mother he is also survived by two brothers, Russell Powers of Clarksburg, and Lawrence Powers and his wife Shelby of East View, one sister, Angela Powers of Shinnston; as well as several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
Stevie was loved by his caregivers at the Group Home in Salem and by his great aunt, Emma Clevenger, who looked after his care for several years. He will be sadly missed by all who loved him.
Stevie loved his animals, car rides and country music.
