Family and friends may call at the Amos Carvelli Funeral Home, 201 Edison Street, Nutter Fort, on Friday from 2:00 – 8:00 pm. Mrs. Pringle will be taken to the Calvary United Methodist Church, 390 S. 22nd Street, Clarksburg to lie in state for one hour prior to the service, which will be on Saturday, November 11, 2017 at 11:00 am with Reverend Brian Plum and Reverend Etheldean Yanero officiating. Interment will be in the Rocky Ford United Methodist Church Cemetery in Buckhannon.

Lorna Mae Hyre Pringle, 88, of Clarksburg, passed away on Wednesday, November 8, 2017 in a local nursing home.

 

She was born in Buckhannon on August 14, 1929, a daughter of the late Raymond and Clarice Cutright Hyre.

 

She was married to Reverend Donald L. Pringle on May 16, 1948, who preceded her in death on February 14, 1995.

 

Surviving are five children, Phillip “Lonnie” Pringle and his wife Shirley of Big Prarie, OH, Michael R. Pringle and his wife Margaret of Clarksburg, Charlotte K. Harvey and her husband Robert “Bob” of Clarksburg, Raymond “Brent” Pringle and his wife Raye Ann of Big Prarie, OH, and Suzetta Lynn Waters of Cleveland, TN; 11 grandchildren, Scott, Tim, Dana, Bill,  and Andy Pringle,    Robert Harvey, Jennifer Kinney, Mindy Wilson, Kristy Spreng, and Nicole and Justin Skinner; 27 great grandchildren; two great great grandchildren; three sisters, Veva Smith of Buckhannon, Gaylene Hildreth and her husband Roy of Buckhannon, and Rosella Ware and her husband Melvin of Dickenson, TX; and several nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Pringle loved spending time with her grandchildren and working puzzle books. She was a member of the Calvary United Methodist Church, and spent much time working within the church as the wife of a minister.
