Family and friends may call at the Amos Carvelli Funeral Home, 201 Edison Street, Nutter Fort on Thursday from 4:00 to 8:00 pm.   Margaret Ann will be taken to the Pickens Baptist Church to lie in state for 1 hour prior to the service, which will be Friday, September 9, 2016 at 11:00 am, with Reverend Paul Stadelman and Reverend Dustin McCune officiating.   Interment will be in the Pickens I.O.O.F. Cemetery.

Rejoice with the family of Margaret Ann Casto Haught, age 87 a long time resident of Sun Valley, for she is with the Lord. September 5 2016.  Margaret Ann was born April 1, 1929 in Pickens, WV the daughter of the late Cecil Charles Dulaney and Elsie Anna Freida Betler.

 

Twice married, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Bernard Casto on September 15, 1977, and also her second husband, Oral “Doc” Haught, on April 10, 1989.

 

She is survived by her children, Sherry Marra (Claude), Barbara Barberio (James), Brenda Albright, Michael Casto (Tina) and Melissa Casto; and three stepson’s, Doug Haught (Earl); Mike Haught (Delesa); Keith Haught (Elaine).

 

One of her greatest joys were her eight grandchildren, and 15 great grandchildren.

 

Also surviving are her brothers, Charles Dulaney (Rosie) and Ed Dulaney (Sue), and two sisters Ruth May “Tommy” Shears and Freida Marie Drummond; many nieces and nephews; and one sister-in-law, Mrs. William (Sandy) Dulaney.

 

Also preceding her in death were two brothers, Cecil Claude Dulaney and William Dulaney.

 

Margaret Ann, prior to meeting her husband, Bernard worked as a switch board operator for C&P Telephone Co.

 

Margaret Ann, in the many years of practicing her faith, was a pianist for the church choir, youth choir director, sang in the church and senior citizen choir, delivered the love of Christ to many in their home and nursing centers. Margaret Ann was an active member at United Methodist Temple and prayer chain, and recently attended at the Heaston United Methodist Church.

 

Margaret was a member of the Rebekah Lodge and the Pythian Sisters Holy Temple no. 78 of Pickens.

 

She loved crocheting, reading her Bible and writing in her journal.
