Cliff, Joanie, Maria\\\\\\\'s girls and extended family. I was very sorry I could not attend the service. I injured my arm the night before and could not travel in. I can\\\\\\\'t say enough about Maria and the entire family. West Virginia remains home to me through the memories of Mary Lou, Maria, Gina Joanie and all of you. To her girls - your mom was a special woman. Through our childhood days in Nutter Fort at RW and later at WVU - your mom was alway a fixture and such a special person to all of us. Your mother and family touched so many lives and continues to live in all of us through the times we shared. God bless all of you. I will miss your mom dearly.

No words can express the heartache we feel. Prayers for you all through it all. Maria always made me feel that my career choice, even taking me out of country and away from family for long periods, was a great service and safety for our nation. It is with deep regret that the same career is keeping me from being there in person, but of all people, Maria, would totally understand. We will love and miss her always and have and will be blessed by your family friendship!! Love and prayers????????
