She spent her formative years in Clarksburg, WV and graduated from Notre Dame High School where she went on to pursue a career at CNGT dedicating herself to accounting.

She was a devoted and nurturing mother who instilled in her children the values of compassion, integrity, and hard work.
In addition to her role as a mother, Marie adored her grandchildren, Christin Port (Kevin), Matthew Hinton, Alexandriah Hall, Riley Hinton, Brandon Hinton, Olivia Hinton, and Abigail Hinton, as well as her great-grandchildren, Krace Crawford, Amelia Hinton, and Lucian Port and found immense happiness in spending time with them. She was known for her warm heart, gentle spirit, and endless patience.
Outside of her family life, Marie was an active member of several crafting communities where she volunteered her time and efforts to various charitable causes. She was passionate about helping all interested to bring out their inner beauty with their crafts and her contributions made a lasting impact on the lives of many.
Marie will be dearly missed by all who knew her. She leaves behind a legacy of love, kindness, and generosity that will continue to inspire her family and friends for years to come.
