Obituaries

Mark Alan Riffle, age 58, of Glen Falls, passed away on Wednesday, September 21, 2016 in the Untied Hospital Center surrounded by his loved ones.

He was born in Clarksburg on January 11, 1958, a son of Howard “Bill” Riffle of Glen Falls, and the late Nellie Sinnett Riffle.

He is survived by his loving wife, Lisa West Riffle; and one son, Josh Riffle of Clarksburg.  He was also preceded in death by his son, Justin Riffle.

Also surviving are two brothers; Howard Riffle and Shirley of Glen Falls, and Randy Riffle and Donna of Glen Falls; three sisters,  Alice Shaw and Tom of Quiet Dell, Kathy Dodd and Rocky of Glen Falls, and Lori Evanoski and Jon of Good Hope; and two granddaughters, Lauren and Madison. He was also loved by many nieces and nephews.

After high school, Mark enlisted in the Marine Corps where he served his country proudly, and worked for Consolidated Coal, Robinson Run for 18 years.

He was an avid hunter and fisherman and also loved to farm.

“Markie” will be missed by all his family and friends.  He loved and was loved by all who knew him.

In keeping with his wishes, Mark will be cremated.
