Family and friends may call at the Amos Carvelli Funeral Home, 201 Edison Street, Nutter Fort on Friday from 3:00 to 8:00 pm, where funeral services will be held on Saturday, April 15, 2017 at 11:00 am with Lou Ortenzio presiding.   Interment will be in the Greenlawn Masonic Cemetery.

Mark E. LaBenne, II, 35, of Clarksburg, passed away on Wednesday, April 12, 2017 in the United Hospital Center. He was born in Clarksburg on February 25, 1982, a son of Mark Edward LaBenne and his wife Wanda LaBenne, and Armenda Reed LaBenne and her companion Buck Jenkins.

 

In addition to his parents and step parents, he is also survived by six sisters, Kada Wiseman of Clarksburg, Michelle Rowan and her companion Robin Gaston of Clarksburg, Katie Heckman and her husband Troy of Pennsylvania, Deedra Burns and her husband Jerry of Weston, Karey Boggs and her husband Justin of Weston, Page Reyer of Salem; several aunts, uncles and cousins, and several nieces and nephews including his nephew Bentley whom he dearly loved and who referred to Mark as a Superhero.

 

Mark attended Adamston Grade School and attended Spina Bifida Camp in Ripley, Gore Middle School, and graduated from Robert C. Byrd High School Class of 2002. He loved music, cooking, fishing, movies and Nascar, and attended Bridgeport United Methodist Church with his father.
