I am so very sorry to hear about Mary Ann's passing. I first met her when she brought Emma to the Sylvan Learning Center. She was a dear friend and teacher who cared deeply about her family . She would often share about her trips to different places she took with Emma when I would come to tutor Emma. I am praying for you all during this difficult time.

So sad to learn of the passing of Mrs. Tiano. She was my senior high school English teacher at Lost Creek HS (1963-64) and I have thought of her many times throughout the intervening years. She taught us how to write and insisted that all of her students improve their vocabularies. We also explored Shakespeare and listened to a recording of "Macbeth." She made it fascinating. She was a lovely lady and a terrific teacher! My deepest sympathy to the Tiano family.

I worked at NDHS with Mary Ann. I just loved her. My heart aches for Emma. Emma was Mary Ann's world. My prayers for all the family. I pray that Emma grows up knowing how much her grandmother loved her.
