Family and friends may call at the Amos Carvelli Funeral Home, 201 Edison Street, Nutter Fort, on Wednesday from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. The funeral will be held at the Amos Carvelli Funeral Home on Thursday, October 26, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. with Reverend Rodney Heckert presiding. Interment will follow in the Stonewall Park Cemetery.

Mary Elizabeth Eavenson Rogers, 84, of Mt. Clare, WV, passed away on Saturday, October 21, 2017, at her residence following an extended illness.
She was born in Clarksburg, on June 27, 1933, a daughter of the late Clarence and Louise West Eavenson.
On June 19, 1964, she was married to Ronald H. Rogers, who resides at their residence in Mt. Clare.
She is also survived by three sons, Charles L. “Charlie Brown” Rogers and his wife Jan of Mt. Clare, Robin Rogers and his companion Pixie of Mt. Clare, and Rodney Rogers of Mt. Clare; one daughter Becky Downs and her husband Tom of Sardis; five grandchildren, Shane Rogers, Christopher Rogers, Tristen Rogers, Tiffany Frum, and Logan Simmons; one great grandchild, Tommy Ray Frum; as well as several nieces and nephews.
Mary was the last surviving member of her immediate family out of eleven siblings.
Mary was a graduate of Victory High School, and retired in 1973 from the Decorating Department of Brockway Glass Plant.
She was Methodist by faith, loved gardening, working in flowers, taking care of the lawn and being outside, but most of all was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She loved West Virginia and was an avid WVU Football fan.
