Mary Virginia Fittro, 82, of Clarksburg (Katy Lick), went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, August 22, 2017 at her residence surrounded by her family following an extended illness.

She was born in Flag Run, WV on November 24, 1934, a daughter of the late Frederick and Nettie Sandy Robey.

She was married to Carl Lynn Fittro on April 23, 1966, who preceded her in death on August 4, 2016.

Surviving are one daughter, Kristy Allen and her husband Tim of Clarksburg; five grandchildren, Joseph Earnest, Alexandria Eagle and her husband Zach, Ariel Allen, Ashton Allen, and Michael Earnest; one sister, Nancy Robey of Flag Run; and two special nieces, Carla Steffich and her husband Chris of Wilsonburg, whom she fondly referred to as “Punkin” and her children, Brent Steffich, Breanna Steffich and Elijah Steffich, and Debra Goldizen and her husband Jeff and her children Jacob Goldizen and Olivia Goldizen.

She was also preceded in death by one daughter, Dena Lynn Earnest; three brothers, James Robey, Richard Robey, and David Robey; and one sister, Christine McCarty.
Mary was a retired glass worker having worked at Hazel Atlas, Continental Can and Brockway Glass. She was a member of the Sardis Baptist Church.

Family and friends may call at the Amos Carvelli Funeral Home, 201 Edison Street, Nutter Fort, on Friday from 12:00 to 7:00 pm, where funeral services will be held on Saturday, August 27, 2017 at 11:00 am with Reverend Timothy Maxwell officiating. Interment will be in the Sardis Cemetery.
