Interment will be in the WV National Cemetery, where full military graveside rites will be conducted.

Merlin Scott Thalheim, 57, of Stonewood, passed away on Thursday, September 27, 2018 in the Allegheny General Hospital following a brief illness.

 

He was born in Lee’s Summit, MO on March 17, 1961, a son of the late Arthur Frederick Thalheim and Wynonna Fern Billingsly Thalheim Durbin.

 

Surviving are his wife, Angela “Angie” Frazier Thalheim, whom he married February 25, 2006; nine children, Nancene “Nicky” Mayle and her husband Chuck, Cassandra Thalheim, Alexandra “Alley” Thalheim and her companion John Boy, Carol Woodruff and her companion John, Marlin “Marty” Frazier and his companion Jessica; Ashley Frazier and her companion Patrick, Alan “AJ” Reed, Lucas Hall and Megan Hall; four grandchildren, Autumn, Austin, Megan and Michael; one grandson on the way; one brother, Alan Ingersol; one sister, Kim Bryan and her husband Flint; several nieces and nephews; and special friends, Jesse Martin and wife Helen, Rodney Osborne, Paul Woodruff and companion Sandy, “Tiny” Eldridge, Julie Skidmore, Chuck Stehr, Marty Frazier, Sonny and Jane McIntire; his favorite Aunty Betty and favorite cousin Ginny Lou; and his former wife, Ursula Thalheim and her companion Flip He was also preceded in death by two brothers, Timothy and Michael.
