Norita B. Dye Vibbert, 60, of Clarksburg, WV, passed away on Monday, June 13, 2016 at her residence.
She was born in Clarksburg, WV, on December 25, 1955, a daughter of the late Edward Lee Dye, Sr. and Thurmetta Lou Cottrill Dye.
Norita is survived by two daughters, Tiffany Carpenter and her husband John Jr. of Mt. Clare, and Miranda McClain and her fiancé Chris Sutton of Summersville; two grandsons, Logan Anthony and Zachary David; two sisters, Georgianna Dye of Nutter Fort and Lisa Mullooly of Florida. Also surviving are her nephews and nieces, Heidi and Kevin Bennington of Bridgeport, Heather and Michael Cogar of Clarksburg, Anisa and Jason Hale of Huntington, Brian and Karen Dye of, FL and T.R. and Amber Dye of TX; great nephews and nieces, Owen, Joey, Noah, Chad, Bella, Aiden, Isabella and Drew.
In addition to her parents, Norita was preceded in death by one brother, Ed “Butch” Dye, Jr. on December 14, 2004.
Norita was Baptist by faith and graduated from Roosevelt Wilson High School, Class of 1974. She was a retired cook from the Harrison County Board of Education and enjoyed crocheting as well as spending time with her family.
There will be a private service held for the family.
Interment will be held in the Wolfe Cemetery.
