Family and friends may call at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 126 E. Pike Street, Clarksburg, WV on Monday, October 30, 2017 from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at the conclusion of the visitation at 11:00 a.m. with Father Casey Mahone as Celebrant.   Per her request, cremation services will follow. Entombment will follow in the Boca Raton Mausoleum in Boca Raton FL, where she will be laid to rest alongside her beloved husband.

Patricia Brady Hennis, 87, of Clarksburg, passed away Sunday morning, October 22, 2017, surrounded by family.

 

Patricia Angela Brady was born in Wheaton, IL, on May 30, 1930, a daughter of the late John P. and Angela Peck Brady.

 

After graduating from Immaculate Conception High School in Wheaton, IL, she was a secretary   to the Vice President of Natural Gas and Pipeline Company in Chicago. She was married to Henry C. Hennis, who worked as an Electrical Engineer for IBM. His job with IBM afforded them the opportunity to live in many wonderful places, and eventually settled in Boca Raton, FL. While living in Boca, she was a successful Realtor, a member of St. Joan of Arc Church, a member of the Garden Club and was well loved in the community.

 

She was a cherished mother of seven children, Patrick Hennis and wife Melissa of Lexington, VA, Peter Hennis and wife Sharon Lubert of Folly Beach, SC, Ann Hennis Manley and husband William, of Clarksburg, Sally Hennis Hatton and husband Thomas of Boca Raton, John Hennis and wife Cackie Dowd of Lexington, VA, Helen Hennis Dahms and husband Terry of Fayetteville, AK, and Henry C. Hennis Jr. and wife Dolores of Ft. Worth Texas. She was grandmother to 21 grandchildren and three great grandchildren.

 

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a daughter-in-law, Debbie McHenry Hennis, her brothers and sisters, John Peck Brady, James Oliver Brady, Francis Thomas Brady, Mary Adria Brady Dekan, Marion Ellen Brady and infant brother, Joseph Brady.
