Obituaries

Patricia Ann Adams, 79, of Clarksburg, passed away on Saturday, October 23, 2021 at her residence.

Patricia was born in Lewis County on April 22, 1942, a daughter of the late Willard and Margaret (Williams) Adams.

She is survived by her daughter, Kim Mackey and her companion Jimmy Pope of Weston, WV; three grandchildren, Jessie McCray, Matt Mullooly and Megan Mullooly and her companion Donnie Carder; five great-grandchildren, Seth, Kaylee, Emily and Brody Stalnaker and Audrey Carder; one brother, Gerald Adams and his wife Pam of Lost Creek; and one nephew, Rob Adams and his wife Crystal of Hurricane.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Billy Adams.

Patricia received her master’s degree and was a Professor at a Community College as well as a Paralegal for a Law firm in Pasadena, CA. She most recently volunteered for the Lost Creek Senior Citizen’s Group as a secretary. She was a member of Young Republican Club in Weston. She was Christian by faith and attended Christian Assembly in Nutter Fort.

She had many passions including shopping, traveling and animals. She enjoyed baking for the holidays, singing and playing piano. She was an avid WVU and Steelers fan.

Family and friends may call at the Amos Carvelli Funeral Home, 201 Edison Street, Nutter Fort on Thursday, October 28, 2021 from 4:00 – 7:00 pm with a funeral service following the visitation at 7:00 pm with Pastor Fred Aves presiding. A private interment will take place in the Horner Methodist Church Cemetery in Weston, WV.
