In keeping with her wishes, Patricia will be cremated. Family and friends may call at the Amos Carvelli Funeral Home, 201 Edison Street, Nutter Fort where a memorial service will be held on Wednesday, May 7, 2025 at 2:00 pm with Pastor Austin Lynch officiating. A gathering of family and friends will follow the memorial service from 3:00 to 7:00 pm.

Patricia Ann Ash Reasinger, 84, of Bridgeport passed away on Monday, May 5, 2025.

She was born in West Milford on March 25, 1941, a daughter of the late Frederick and Gertrude Griffith Ash.

She married her high school sweetheart, Thomas Reasinger, on January 14, 1967, who preceded her in death.

Surviving are two daughters, Amy Allen and her husband Mark of Bridgeport and Tammy Leaseburg and her husband Eric of Clarksburg. Also surviving are four grandchildren whom she adored, Paige and Brooke Leaseburg and Nicholas and Reese Allen; and one brother, Raymond Ash of Clarksburg.

She was also preceded in death by one brother, James Ash.
Patricia graduated from Victory High School where math was her favorite subject. Her first job out of school was working as an accountant at Merchant’s Bank. She was then a stewardess for TWA and Saturn Airlines. She enjoyed her stewardess job where she traveled the world and made many friends. She finished her career in the correspondence department for the FBI, retiring from there after 10 years of service.

In addition to her other jobs, Patricia was a talented seamstress, a member of the Millennial Quilters Guild for many years and even had her own boutique in North Carolina. She loved to sew clothes for her daughters, gifts for friends, and be creative. Over the years, she served as a mentor and an inspiration to many.

In keeping with her wishes, Patricia will be cremated.
