Family and friends may call at the Amos Carvelli Funeral Home, 201 Edison Street, Nutter Fort, on Sunday, June 26, 2016 from 2:00 to 8:00 p.m.   Catholic Burial Rites will be held at the Amos Carvelli Funeral Home on Monday, June 27, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. with Father Akila Rodrigo presiding.   Interment will follow in the St. Mary’s Cemetery on Fink Creek Road in Camden, WV.

Patricia Ellen Woofter Owens, 52, of Mineral Wells, WV, passed away on June 22, 2016, at Pigeon Forge, TN, unexpectedly.

 

She was born on March 1, 1964, a daughter of the late James Paul Woofter and Sylvia Jane Ashcraft Woofter of Clarksburg.

 

She is survived by her husband James A. Owens, who she married on September 4, 1987.

 

Patricia is also survived by one son, James Patrick Owens of Mineral Wells; two daughters, Cynthia Jane Owens of Parkersburg and Bethany Nicole Owens of Mineral Wells; three grandchildren, Hayden James Owens, Harper Jade Hall and Olivia Denise Owens. She is also survived by two brothers, Larry Woofter and his wife Marlene of Clarksburg and Jim Woofter and his wife Cyndi of Moundsville; five sisters, Carolyn Criss and her husband Bob of Clarksburg, Mary Woofter of Shinnston, Margaret Summers and her husband Dave of Clarksburg, Theresa Washington and her husband Donald of Clarksburg, and Cindy Yost and her husband Harry of Williamstown; as well as several nieces and nephews.

 

In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Cathy Hudkins and Connie Alvarez.

 

Patricia was a graduate of Liberty High School Class of 1983, and attended Glenville State College for two years. She was an Assistant Manager for Wal-Mart with over 20 years of service.

 

She loved to sew, crafts, and quilting. She loved to sing Karaoke, the outdoors, camping, and fishing, but most of all loved being with family.
