Patrick Joseph “Pat” Steele, 54, of Clarksburg, WV, passed away on Sunday, March 18, 2018, at Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown, following an extended illness.

He was born in Clarksburg, on December 26, 1963, a son of the late Shirley Ernest and Violet Renzelli Steele.

He was married on August 16, 1996, to Donna Brunetti Steele, who preceded him in death on February 17, 2001.

Pat is survived by his son, Samuel Steele of Clarksburg; two brothers, Larry Steele and wife Polly of Bridgeport, and James Steele of Clarksburg; one sister, Linda Oster of Winchester, VA; Nephews, Jeffrey Oster, Andy Steele, and Vincent Steele; nieces Sarah Steele and Francesca Steele.

In addition to his parents and wife he was preceded in death by one brother, Donald Andrew Steele.

He was a graduate of Notre Dame High School, Class of 1982, and attended of Fairmont State University. Pat was formerly employed as a salesman with Sysco Corporation, and in the sportsmen’s shop at Marsh Lumber. Until his illness, Pat was currently working at Deepwell Energy Services, LLC.

Pat was a member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church. He loved the game of golf but his greatest passions were hunting and fishing.

Per his request, Pat will be cremated.

Family and friends may call at the All Saints Catholic Church, 317 E. Main Street, Bridgeport, WV on Friday, March 23, 2018 from 9:00 to 11:00 am, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 am with Father Benedict Kapa as Celebrant. Inurnment will be in the Holy Cross Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Pat’s memory, made payable to his son Samuel Steele, c/o CWVTEL Federal Credit Union, 131 W. Pike Street, Clarksburg, WV 26301.
