Family and friends may call at the Amos Carvelli Funeral Home on Tuesday, January 16, 2018 from 2:00 to 6:00 pm., where an Elks Memorial Service will be held at 5:00 p.m.   In keeping with his request, Mr. Alban will be cremated following the visitation. Paul Edward Alban, Jr., 91 of Clarksburg, passed away on Thursday, January 11, 2018 at his residence.

 

He was born in Fairmont on November 21, 1926 a son of the late Paul E. and Katherine M. Post Alban.

 

Surviving is his son, Barry Kendall Alban of Clarksburg.

 

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his former wife, Betty Alban; one son, Paul E. Alban, II; and brother, Jo Bert Alban.

 

Mr. Alban was a graduate of Fairmont West High School and Fairmont State College and was a WWII Veteran.  He was retired from Union Carbide Corporation with approximately 40 years of service.

 

Mr. Alban was a member of Clarksburg Lodge No. 482 B.P.O. Elks where he was a past Exalted Ruler, a lifetime member of the Harrison County Lodge No.2875 B.P.O. Elks, a member of Roy E. Parrish Post #13 American Legion, and was a member of the Vincent Memorial United Methodist Church.
