Family and friends will be received at the Amos Carvelli Funeral Home, 201 Edison Street, Nutter Fort, on Sunday, November 5, 2017 from 12:00 noon to 8:00 p.m.   The funeral will be held at the Amos Carvelli Funeral Home on Monday, November 6, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. with Reverend Brian Plum presiding.   Interment will follow at the Floral Hills Memorial Gardens.

Ramona Joan Gregory Childers, 84, of Mt. Clare, WV, passed away on Friday, November 3, 2017 at the Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown following a brief illness.

 

She was born on January 8, 1933, in Philippi, WV a daughter of the late Logan and Edythe Lantz Lough.

 

Twice married she was preceded in death by her first husband, Jack Gregory and her second husband, Harvey Junior Childers.

 

Mrs. Childers is survived by one son, Jack Gregory and wife Donna of West Milford; two daughters, JoAnn “Susie” Hileman and husband Tim of Mt. Clare, and Donna Paugh and husband Tom of Mt. Clare; several grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren She is also survived by four brothers, Terry Lough of Utah, Ronnie Lough of FL, Robert Lough of Akron, OH, and George Lough and wife Debbie of Akron, OH; one sister, Sue Frazier of Clarksburg as well as several nieces and nephews.

 

In addition to her parents and husbands she was preceded in death by three sons, Thomas “Tom “Gregory, James “Jimbo” Childers and Billy “Kingpin” Gregory; one daughter, Cristie June Childers; one granddaughter Dianna L. Gregory, two daughters-in-law, Linda Gregory and Carla Gregory; and six sisters and two brothers.

 

Mrs. Childers was a homemaker, loving mother and grandmother and will be sadly missed by her family.
