Rebecca Richards Corder Stafford, 74, of Clarksburg, WV passed away on Thursday, February 22, 2024, at her home surrounded by her loving family.
She was born in Clarksburg on February 21, 1950, the daughter of the late Dorsey Richards and June Sidebottom Richards.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Gordon Stafford who passed away on August 15, 2011.
She is survived by one son, Michael Corder and wife Marcia of Anmoore, two daughters: Sarah Pitts and husband Quint of Central, SC and Erica Dale and husband Gregg of Clarksburg, WV, fifteen grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren, one brother, Jeff Richards and wife Arline and one stepdaughter, Kay Norrell of Dallas, TX.
She was a retired bookkeeper, attended Horizons Church, enjoyed reading, painting and shopping especially on Amazon. Above all, she loved spending time with her children and grandchildren. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
Family and friends may call at the Amos Carvelli Funeral Home, 201 Edison Street, Nutter Fort, WV on Sunday, February 25, 2024 from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm. The funeral service will be held on Monday, February 26, 2024 at the Amos Carvelli Funeral Home at 11:00 am with Josiah Pitts presiding. Interment will follow at the Floral Hills Memorial Gardens.
