Robert John Mihaliak, 81 of Clarksburg, WV passed away on Thursday, January 4, 2018 at Ruby Memorial Hospital, following a brief illness.
He was born in Clarksburg, on August 16, 1936 a son of the late Corneilus and Mary Cathles Mihaliak.
Mr. Mihaliak is survived by his wife of 60 years, Andrea Frank Welks Mihaliak.
Also surviving are two sons, Robert Mihaliak and Timothy Mihaliak both of Clarksburg; three daughters, Margo Shipley and husband John of Texas, Katherine Starkey and husband Jeremy of Pennsboro, and Julia Parker and husband Gary of Despard; three grandsons, Anthony, Andrew and Adin Mihaliak; and one granddaughter, Angelina Starkey; two brothers, David Mihaliak of Clarksburg, and Joe Mihaliak and wife Barbara of Stonewood.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Edward Mihaliak.
Mr. Mihaliak was Catholic by faith, and retired from the Union Carbide.
Per his request, Mr. Mihaliak will be cremated.
