Family and friends may call at the Amos Carvelli Funeral Home, 201 Edison Street, Nutter Fort on Sunday from 4:00 to 8:00 pm where funeral services will be held on Monday, December 19, 2016 at 11:00 am with Reverend Karen Brown officiating. Interment will be in the WV National Cemetery where full military graveside rites will be accorded.

Ronald Carl Louden, 67, of Elkins, passed away on Thursday, December 15, 2016 following an extended illness. He was born in Clarksburg on January 5, 1949, a son of the late Howard Junior and Evelyn Lucille Prince Louden.

 

He is survived by one sister, Charlotte Orndoff and her husband William “Bill” Orndoff of Morgantown; two nieces, Lisa Marie Nutter and Cassandra Renee Nutter; one nephew, Michael Hyde, Jr.; and two great nephews, Michael “Trey” Hyde, III, and Matthew Robert Hyde. He was also preceded in death by one half brother, Roger Louden.

 

Mr. Louden was a mechanic for Chenoweth Ford and a glassworker. He was a United States Army Veteran having served for three years during the Vitenam Era.  Ronald loved working on cars and riding his Harley Davidson.  He was a member of the Meuse Argonne Post 573 VFW and was Methodist by faith.
