Family and friends may call at the St. Mark’s Lutheran Church, 1766 Milford Street, Clarksburg from 10:00 am to 11:00 am on Wednesday, July 6, 2016, where funeral services will be held at 11:00 am with Reverend Randolph Richardson officiating.    Interment will be in the WV National Cemetery.

Rosanna Lillian (Bainbridge) Muhly, 93, Bridgeport, passed away on Thursday, June 30, 2016 at her home where she lived with her husband, Frank Muhly who survives her, and her daughter Linda Muhly, son-in-law Matthew Alexander, and three grandchildren: Laurel, Kali and Dillon Muhly-Alexander.

Born October 20, 1922, she was a lifelong resident of Philadelphia and active in all facets of life at Redeemer Lutheran Church until moving to WV in 2008. 

Also surviving are three sons, Mark Muhly of Glenside, PA; David Muhly and his wife Donna of Bland, VA; Frank Muhly, Jr. and his wife Bunny Harvey of Providence, RI; and grandson Nico Muhly of New York, NY.

Married for 73 years, Rose centered her life on service through the Church and her community. She loved the natural world, traveling, cooking,

and sharing these experiences with family and friends. Rose was currently a member of St. Mark’s Lutheran Church, Clarksburg and was the retired Co-Director of the Lutheran Retreat Center at Glen Foerd in Philadelphia.

Family and friends may call at the St. Mark’s Lutheran Church, 1766 Milford Street, Clarksburg from 10:00 am to 11:00 am on Wednesday, July 6, 2016, where funeral services will be held at 11:00 am with Reverend Randolph Richardson officiating. 

Interment will be in the WV National Cemetery.

The family extends special thanks to Carla Thornhill, Denise Collier and other caregivers along with Rose’s medical providers through AMEDISYS Hospice.
