Obituaries

Rosemary Catherine Mancuso, 67, of Clarksburg, WV passed away on Friday, January 26, 2018 at the River Oaks Nursing Home.

She was born in Clarksburg, on March 28, 1950, a daughter of the late Sam and Mary Waters Mancuso.

Rosemary is survived by her brother, Daniel F. Mancuso and wife Sandra K. of Clarksburg; two nieces, Lori Mehrtens and husband Bryan and children Brady and Mary, and Juli Whitescarver and husband Rick and children Emily and Zoe; one uncle, Paul Mancuso and wife Theresa, and one aunt, Virginia Jeffries; special cousin, Sarah Reymond, as well as many cousins.

She was a graduate of Roosevelt Wilson High School Class of 1968, and retired after 32 years of service with the Louis A. Johnson Veterans Administration Hospital.

Rosemary was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, and was an avid reader. She enjoyed spending time with her family especially her great nieces and nephew.

The family extends their gratitude and special thanks to Dr. Dominic Woofter for his care to Rosemary over the years, her caregiver, Julie Ferguson, and Dr. Malone and the staff at River Oaks Nursing Home during her stay.

Per her request, Rosemary will be cremated.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to a favorite charity of your choice in Rosemary’s name.

Private Catholic Committal Rites will be held at the Holy Cross Cemetery.
