Sean Michael Murphy, 46, of Clarksburg, WV, went home to be with the Lord surrounded by his loving family on Monday, February 10, 2020, at the United Hospital Center following an extended illness.

He was born on October 8, 1973, a son of the late Terry Murphy and Angela Fairchild Murphy of whom still resides in Clarksburg.

Sean is survived by his wife Roberta Greynolds Murphy, who resides at their home in Clarksburg.

Also surviving are five children, Chase M. Murphy of Clarksburg, Autumn M. Barnhart and fiancé Caleb Clegg of Clarksburg, Allysha N. Barnhart and fiancé Cody Elder of Clarksburg, and Ryon Barnhart and Terri L. Murphy; one sister, Kristi Williams and husband Jason of Clarksburg; one nephew Andrew Perine; and two nieces, Kilee and Taylor Williams.

Sean was formerly a truckdriver for Trojan Horse Trucking and WV Department of Highways at Gore. He helped coach W.I. Football, was the assistant coach for wrestling and announcer at MK Speedway. He was an avid WVU football, NASCAR, and dirt track racing fan.

Family and friends may call at the Amos Carvelli Funeral Home, 201 Edison Street, Nutter Fort, on Tuesday from 2:00 to 8:00 p.m. where the funeral service will be held on Wednesday, February 12, 2020 at 10:00 a.m. with Pastor Quint Pitts presiding.

Interment will follow in the Floral Hills Memorial Gardens.
