Obituaries

Susan Margo Herron, 67, of Jane Lew, WV, passed away in the early morning hours on Wednesday, May 5, 2021 at the Country Living Personal Care Home.

Susan was born in Clarksburg, WV, on July 25, 1953, a daughter of the late Harold and Barbara Shawhan Herron.

She is survived by her sister, Chera Allman and husband Kenny of Buckhannon; nephew, Robert L. Hurst and wife Melissa of Mt. Clare; great-nephew, Worthy Hurst; great-niece, Liliana Hurst; and her beloved dog Sadie.

Susan worked as a loan officer for Farm Credit where she retired with 20 years of service following a diagnosis with multiple sclerosis. She battled M.S. for 35 years. She will be sadly missed.

The family of Susan would like to extend a special thank you to Sherry Sellers and her daughter Jonie as well as the staff of WV Hospice who provided excellent care.

Family and friends may call at the Amos Carvelli Funeral Home, 201 Edison Street, Nutter Fort, on Friday, May 7, 2021 from 1:30 – 2:30 p.m. where a service will be held at 2:30 p.m. with Pastor Gene Thorn presiding. Interment will follow in the Floral Hills Memorial Garden where Susan will be laid to rest with her parents.
