Susie Jo Gain Williams went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, December 28, 2021 following a lengthy illness.

She was born in Clarksburg on September 2, 1955, a daughter of the late Harold W. and Josephine Lenora Houchin Gain.

She was also preceded in death by her brother, Wilbert Timothy “Tim” Gain and the love of her life, Glenn Edward Curkendall.

She is survived by her children, Heidi Lee Ann Price of Clarksburg, Andy Barker and his wife Teresa of Pennsylvania, and Jonna Williams Maxwell and her husband Doug of Glen Falls; her grandchildren, Alisia and Jake, Zoie, Morgan, Hannah, Abigail, Colt, Kori and Douglas; nine great grandchildren; brothers and sisters Harold Gains and his wife Judy of Sun Valley, Perry Gains of Hackers Creek, Aaron Gain and his wife Dina of Arlington, Tammy Gain Miller of Glen Falls; her baby brother, Michael Gain and his companion Beth of Snake Hollow; several nieces and nephews; and many special friends that she held dear to her heart.

Susie attended Victory High School and graduated from Bristol High School class of 1973 and was a former employee of the Farmer Dot Dairy Queen of Sun Valley and the Harrison County Unemployment Office.

She enjoyed many things in life, such as spending time with her family on the family farm and riding horses, baking, coaching softball and cheerleading and watching her daughter play softball. Susie loved going to car shows and watching car races and WVU football. She was an avid Republican and a proud supporter of Trump. She was also a member of the Abundant Life Church.

Susie will be loved and missed by many.

We, the family, would like to extend our thanks to the Amedisys Hospice nurses, Jennifer and Telissa, Aids Tonya and Debbie, and her special caregiver, her daughter Heidi.
